Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband and I had a dispute and went our separate ways. My ex Mother-in-law has temporary custody of my 2 year old son, on my behalf thinking it was better for him emotionally, until i could get on my feet and in a stable home. Now she refuses to let me see or have him back. PLEASE help me on how to go about getting the temp papers terminated or whatever it takes..

P.S. He is in danger she is an alcoholic from sun up til sun down and even drinks and drives with him in the truck.

You need to seek the advice of an attorney immediately. The length of time your son has been with your mother in law could be a significant factor that the court will consider. I would be glad to visit with you if you would contact me directly at 713-600-5500. i am a board certified specialist in the field of family law.
