Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband wants a divorce, however I still feel alot more could be done, he still tells me he loves me and believes we could be married again. He has filed and it has been 60 days but I have not seen any papers or been served. How long will it take if I decline signing anything?

He's probably having second thoughts.

If he doesn't take any further action in the divorce (such as getting you served, or getting a waiver from you), the Court will eventually dismiss the case "for want of prosecution." This can take up to a year.
