Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

when me and my husband divorced I let him have the house because I could not afford the payments but he could. what do I need to do to get my name off of the mortgage so that I am not resposible for the mortgage payments just he is. I live in Texas

Only the mortgage company can remove your name from the mortgage. You need to talk to them.

Your ex can refinance the house and get your name off the mortgage. That is one way to get your name off the mortgage.
