Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband is getting towards the end of his child support obligation and filed a Motion to Terminate, the AG's office filed a Motion to Transfer Venue, he responded, etc. Court is set for this Friday. Well, today, I got a call from my office manager who stated that she had a voicemail from the AG's office wanting to talk to her about ME. I am not the parent, simply the step parent so WHY would the AG's office being calling MY employer? Do they have a right to or is this merely another one of their strong arm tactics to try and get their way?

The AG may want to pump you for information (about his earnings, for instance).

No, you don't have to talk to them or return their call.

You might consider calling them back anyway, just to see what they're up to (you might learn something useful). If they start asking you a lot of questions, you can simply refuse to tell them anything.
