Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my husband has been a faithful child support payer. The ex-wife just asked for a review for more money and got it. I don't have a problem paying child support and we want to help pay for anything his daughter needs, but we want to make sure that the money is going to help his daughter and not paying for the mother's wants. We want to find out if there is a way to make sure that a percentage of that money goes into an education IRA or something like that for her future. That way we know that his daughter will have something for sure. We also want to know if we can ask for 50% custodianship but we don't live in the same school district. But my husband works in her school district and can take her to school. Is there a way to do this without dragging everyone to court?

The short answer to your question is NO.

If the child has housing, utilities, food, clothing -- that is where his child support goes.
