Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Husband filed Divorce but wants to know who I date.

My husband and I were married 16 years last Sept. In Dec. he fell into a ''state of confusion'' stating he did not know if he wanted this marriage to go on another 16 yrs. Apparently he felt unaccomplished. On and off he would leave and come back. Left 3 wks in Dec., came back, left in Feb. 4 days came back, left in March 1 wk came back, I was left devastated he took my son each time. Finally not trusting him I was not able to ''connect'' emotionally with him and I LEFT.

He moved out and took my son shortly after..this was in April. He has since filed divorce and noted date of separation April 15. I have since been accused of infidelity and he claims I have been seeing a male person, name unbeknownst to me and constantly calls to asks where does he live what is his name and tells me that we can have a FRESH START if I ''come clean'' I did meet a very nice person but only speak on the phone. He claims he knows who the individual is and constantly calls me to fess up and to not protect the other guy????? Is this advice from his lawyer? I answer his calls to ask & to see how my son is doing. How will this play out in Court. He won't let me see my son and has brainwashed him not to want to stay with me. That hurts.

Re: Husband filed Divorce but wants to know who I date.

I answered your question yesterday but I don't think it went through. So here I go again.

Has he been to a doctor recently? His confusion might be diabetes, a recent stroke or diamensia.

I don't recommend "dating" while getting a divorce.

You definately need an attorney in order to make sure you get your rights. If this man is having health or mental issues, it might be dangerous for you son to be living with him.

I highly recommend PATRICIA BUSHMAN at 713.805.9591. Tell her that FRAN sent you.

She goes outside of Harris County. I don't.

Happy 4th.

If you just want to talk I charge a discounted "talk" rate of $100 an hour.
