Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My husband and I filed for divorce. I moved out of the house that we jointly own, 2 weeks ago. He says I cannot legally enter the house since I abandoned it. What are my rights as part owner of the house?

It's still your house and you can enter. The greater issue may be that entering the house may put you at risk for a violent response or create other problems that are detrimental to your position in the divorce. If you do not already have an attorney representing you then you need to hire one. If you have an attorney then you need to talk to your attorney about this situation.
