Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Me and my Husband filed our income taxes before he filed for divorce. Nothing is finalized yet its still pending but he is telling me he has to find out how much money I am intitled to get out of our income tax money. I just think is should be split fifty fifty. Because we are going through a divorce do we have to to havr a certain amount intitled to both of us? I don't want him to manipulte me into anything.

Your income tax refund is community property, and since the divorce is still pending, it hasn't been divided yet. He's being a jerk. He should just agree to split the refund with you.
