Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

When a husband files for divorce and he fills out the forms wrong such as he says there are minor children and there are none. Also can he have the wife's name changed without her consent on these same forms? Will this affect the validity of the divorce?

It will not effect the validity of the divorce. He cannot change your name without your consent. If he provides incorrect or false information, you need to have a lawyer to make sure the decree is accurate and gets entered correctly.
