My husband and I got full custody of his son almost 3 yrs ago. His mother only gets third party visitation rights. Can she take us back to court to fight for him again?

She can take you back to court. However, to win, she will have to prove that taking your son from his parents and placing him in her custody is in your son's best interests. Based on the limited facts you have provided, unless things have changed substantially from 3 years ago, this does not seem likely.
