Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My Ex Husband is harrasing me through text messages on my phone about child support for my daughter. He is saying that he does not have to provide her with lunch at school on the day she goes to school from his house because he pays child support. Is this true? Can I change my cell number without being in trouble?

Change your cel phone number, and don't give him the new number.

Are you saying that he is sending her off to school without providing for her lunch? What does he say to her when she asks him for lunch money?

Generally, a parent is required to "provide" for the child when the child is in his possession under a court order.

Frankly, I don't know how a judge would rule in this situation. I've never heard of a father being such a cheap sorry bastard.
