Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband left me, can I file abandonment charges?

I live in Texas. I lived with my husband for a little over ten years before we got married. We now have been married almost 10 years. He decided to get up and leave me. This has been a 20 year relationship and I feel betrayed. I don't want to file divorce because I can't afford. I feel he should. He has the money. Can I file some sort of abandonment charges on him? I really just want to have his actions documented in case this gets ugly. Do you have any advice?

Save up the money to hire a lawyer to file for divorce. The abandonment is a claim in the divorce. It might be valuable to you in case "things get ugly".
