Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband and i have been living in separate housing for 10 months.We can not legally separate due to Tx state laws. I wish to be excused from any and all liability for any and all of his actions. Is this possible?

How does Texas law prevent you from separating?

Do you want a divorce? That's the best way to be sure you won't be liable for any of his actions.

Generally, there's no way you can set it up so that "I'm still married, but the Texas laws having to do with married people don't apply to me."
