Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

i have been with my husband for ninteen years he has a 23 yr old daughter we just finfshing paying off childsupport he owes.but they want 19,000 in interest is there antway we can get the interest dropped.we live in texas but have to go to court in oklahoma.i have two children with him as well.
