Husband put wife in mental hospital
My aunt is in an abusive relationship and her husband put her in the mental hospital w/o her consent. She lives in Texas. I wanted ask how long will she be kept inside the hospital. How was he able to do that? And what can she do to help herself?

Usually, it's 3 days for a psych evaluation, but there is no way to tell if that is what you are talking about. If it is for an involuntary commitment, there should have been a hearing before a judge. Sounds like she needs an attorney. Try to find her one who has handled commitments and guardianships.
