Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband and I are seperated, I used his checking account to pay a bill even though I am not on his checking account. There has not been a divorce filed and now he is saying he is pressing charges and so is the bank. I know Texas is a community property state and was under the understanding that I could do that.
