Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Please Help!! My husband and I are seperated at the moment. He pays child support and he gets unemployment. We have a special needs son in which I am the custodial parent. Child support isn't enough, so how can I get some of the unemployment money.

I assume that you have an attorney. If so, talk to your attorney.

If you don't have an attorney. You need to hire one.

Child support is based on your husband's income. Generally it is 20% of his net resources. That would include his unemployment.

It might not be enough money for your special needs child.
