Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My husband and I have been seperated for over 4 years and lead separate lives and have separate residences. We sold our house and both rent, he has an apartment, I rent a house. I've been renting the same house since we separated and am thinking about buying it. If I do, is he entitled to the house in any way or any appreciation or equity increase before we eventually divorce?

You're married, and any property you acquire during marriage is presumed to be community property. Yes, he would be entitled to part of the value of t he house (if he chooses to go after it when you file for divorce).
