Based on what you have written, you may want to consider filing for divorce and obtaining some temporary orders for you and your children. You probably want to get a local law firm to assist you with this process to ensure that you and your children's rights and interests are protected.

We would be more than happy to talk about your specifics in detail should you desire to. You definately need an attorney. I agree with Mr. Brashear - you need to file for divorce and ask for temporary orders and get some temporary child support started. You might even qualify for some temporary spousal support.

The problem with the free (pro bono) services is that they are backed up. There is Lone Star Legal and Houston Volunteer Lawyers. You can call them both.
