My husband is suing me to have his child support reduced. Is there an official document I need to use to respond to the summons?

No. You can file a general denial. Put the heading at the top (case number and style), title it "Respondent's Original Answer," and the body will read "Respondent enters a general denial."
Sign it, and send a copy of Dad's lawyer.
