Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

If a Husband and Wife are both filing for divorce in difference state, both employed a professional server, If the Wife serves the husband first and files with court. Can the husband still serve her and is there and legal advantage to to this or does the wife's state court have jurisdiction over the divorce.

We need more information. Where was the last place that the parties lived together? When did they separate? Which one of them left? When did that person move to the other state? How long has he lived in that state?
