Ex Husband will not take me off the loan to car -ruining credit

My ex-husband and I purchased a car together and he got the car in the divorce and refuses to pay off the vehicle or get it refinanced, so when he is late on payments it looks bad on my credit- What can I do?

Your decree should state that he is responsible for the debt, and further that he is to hold you harmless on the debt.

You need to file an enforcement and contempt action against him
