Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband's ex wife refuses to give him her address for visitation purposes. She's remarried now and has a new family. We just payed $15,000 on back child support to get my husband out of jail after she stated she would settle on past due amount of $70,000 for $6500. This seems like a never ending battle with her. With her refusing to give my husband their address, is there anything we can do to have her in contempt of court in the state of Texas?

Yes. Your order should provide that she is to keep you informed of her address. If so, then she is possibly in contempt. If not, you can ask that it be modified to do so.

Take your order to an attorney to discuss this and see if it applies to you. Based on the rest of your post, you need to discuss several things with an attorney so that you know what your rights and obligations are.

I agree with Attorney Leonard. You need to sit down with an attorney and discuss this matter. Now that she has $15,000 she feels empowered.

And, yes...it will be a never ending battle with her until the last child turns 18.
