Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my husbands ex wife signed a document for the army stating that he has 6 month 1 day custody of their son but she refuses to let him bring his son home with him even for a month as he is getting ready to deploy and wanted to spend some time with him. my husband pays child support and is a very good father but she has been very difficult and manipulative in letting him see his son so i was wondering where we stand as far as being able to get his son here and letting him see him before he deploys?

Based on what you have written, you and your spouse need to review the specific terms of the current court order establishing custody, visitation, and child support. If the other biological parent is not following the visitation terms of the order, then you and your spouse may want to consider taking the other biological parent back to court for a motion to enforce and potentially a motion to modify. As you did not put any zip code down, no one can point you in the right direction. You need to consult with a local law firm to ensure that you and your spouses rights and interests are fully being protected and not run over by someone who thinks they know what is going on.
