Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Ilived in San Diego county w/ my husband but left him n moved to New Braunfels, Texas. Can I start divorce proceedings from here or do I need to do it in San Diego? I don"t have the money to travel back to SD. Can an attorney do the divorce for me?

If you have lived in the same county and in TX for 6 months then you can file here.

If your husband has never lived in TX and you own property in CA., then you might want to file there.
