If an 18 year old was being forced to leave the country by a parent (the 18 year old is an American citizen), would that be considered kidnapping? how could he stop it?

If you are being physically restrained, contact the police. You are an adult, and a parent cannot force you leave. If you are not being restrained, pack your bags and leave home.

A person is an adult at 18 and can do whatever they want.
