Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Independence

I am going to be 17 in July, and am looking for some loophole so that I could be a 'legal adult' without being emancipated or pregnant. There has to be some way to do this right? I have even researched getting married, but you must be 18 without consent, even in Mexico and Canada!

Texas or North Carolina

Re: Independence

Sorry no loop-holes. It's 18 or legally emancipated, which isn't easy to achieve. And who told you being pregnant made you a legal adult. It just makes you a pregnant child.

Hang in there, the rest of us made that last year between 17 and 18, you can too.
