inheirted property and cash
If the husband inheirts property and cash and 8 months later the wife files for divorce is she entitled to half of his inheirtance?

No. Inherited property is the husband's separate property.

I agree with James. However, if he put the money into a joint account, then the court MIGHT consider it joint money.
In order to keep separate property separate, the person must be very careful to do everything required to keep it separate.
