Inheritance and divorce

My father passed away a few months ago and my siblings and any inheritance has not been distributed yet. I am filing for divorce this week. Is my wife entitled to any of it when I get it?

No, an inheritance is separate property.

If you deposit your $$ into a joint account, then you are co-mingling money.

Put it in a separate account.
