Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

What injunctions to file pertaining to custody of children.

My boyfriend has custody of his 2 kids. His ex is trying to fight for custody but it's not a safe enviroment for them. There has been events of domestic violence between the mom and her new husband, as well as her other son staying there on the weekend that has been caught molesting my step son and his other half sister. The ex is filing all types of modifications such as: she gets custody, geographical restrictions, child support, and no adult not related or of the opposite sex can be in the home from 10p.m.-7 a.m., this means me, my 2 kids and our 1 yr old can't live in the home. What kind of injunctions or modifications can we do? PLEASE HELP

If you don't have an attorney, you need one. You did not include your zip code so I'm not sure where you live in Texas.

Check out the list of attorneys on this website. Most are willing to talk or email you for a free consultation.

Also, if the 2 of you get married, you are then a relative.

If you can prove the domestic violence, it would be helpful. You can go to the county you live in and order a certified copy of an adult's criminal records.

Good luck!
