Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my ex inlisted in the military without telling me and has left for basic. i found out through our son. Do i still have to let his wife pick up my son, and since he's not paying child support and not seeing our son can i request the court for full custody?

Visitation and child support are separate issues. If he is behind in child support you should contact the JAG officer at the base where he is stationed. Soldiers are supposed to pay child support.

You can file a motion to modify the terms of his visitation. Consult a local family law attorney to help you out
