Insurance Coverage

My divorce will be final in January 2007. My husband has offered to leave me on his insurance for next year, as I have no health insurance where I work.

Can he do this? Is it legal? Will I receive a notice if he decides later to drop me?

if the ins. co. should find out that you are not married (and they are very good at finding out these details), you and your X would be committing insurance fraud - a possible felony.
