Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
intervenor
What is an intervenor? I have a letter stating, ''No appearance having been made other than Intervenor, no name, it is ordered that the divorce action and the suit affecting parent-child relationship are dismissed for lack of prosecution. The Intervention filed by no name, remains pending.'' No Name was my husbands former attorney. He has been fired as well as my former attorney. Can you tell me what this means?

Re: intervenor
Without seeing all of the documentation it is impossible to tell, but if I had to guess...would guess that your husband's former attorney has intervened and is suing for his attorney fees. The divorce action has been dismissed, but the intervention is still a pending case.
Re: intervenor
Souds like Ms. Langford is correct, but you may want to have an attorney confirm this impression and also confirm whether you may also have to pay for your husband's attorney.
Re: intervenor
I agree with Ms. Langford.
