IRA accounts and divorce

Is an IRA account considered community property in a community property state? If not does it matter that the person whose name is on the account, did not put all of the moneys in himself but from moneys earned by spouse?

Anything obtained during the existence of the marriage relationship, except those things acquired by gift or by inheritance are community property (with very few exceptions).
