Which divorced parent has the legal right to file an exemption for their children together on Income Tax.

If your divorce does not award the tax exemption, then the person who provides more than half of the child's support is entitled to the deduction -- if there are numerous bills that are deductible by the other parent, consider a Multiple Support Declaration.
