Jamaica Marriage License

Is a marriage license from Jamaica a legal marriage in the US, if it has not been registered with the local courthouse in Texas?

The general rule is as follows: a marriage which is legal under the laws of the jurisdiction in which it was performed is legal in Texas. There is no need to register the fact of the marriage with any court.
