Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My name is John, I was in the military station in Germany, and got married on the German side. Then I got transferred back to the United States and she didnt want to move with me. So she asked for a divorce. That was 3 years ago. We have no children and neither of us want anything from each other. I have sent her divorce papers and military papers for my personal financial business and she refused to sign any of those paper. I need some legal advice.
Thank you
John
1 Answer from Attorneys
File for divorce in Texas, serve her in Germany, and then set it for a quick trial in Texas.
You'll need an attorney to handle this. Many of us offer discounts to active duty military because we know your situations can be complex and your financial resources a little too thin to pay a $6000 Retainer. See if you can find an attorney who will work with you remotely.
Good luck!!
