Based on what you have written, you should consider obtaining a court order to formalize your agreement terms. Generally, just an agreement may prove to be difficult to show enforcement aspects or the lack of following through with the specific terms. You should consider consulting with a local law firm to protect your rights and interests. If my local law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact us at [email protected] to arrange for an initial consultation. The response given is based upon the limited facts provided by the person asking the question. To the extent additional or different facts exist, the response might possibly change.
