If a joint custody parent breaks the custody agreement by moving out of state does the other parent have to change the custody agreement or is it optional?

If one parent "breaks" the agreed custody agreement, run to court and file contempt on the parent.

Actually, you have several options...one of these options is for you to ask the Judge to make you the parent with primray custody.

Since I don't know all the facts of your case, I won't go into all of your potential options.

If I were you, I'd be in an experienced family law attorney's office immediately.

DON'T WAIT!! TIME IS ON YOUR SIDE!! You might get custody or you might get the other parent ORDERED to move back to your county!!

If you wait you lose all of this!

I would not wait more than 10-14 days. Show the judge that you are really upset & if you file something right now, it shows how upset you truly are. Hurry!
