Jointly owned home by divorced couple in Texas

What do we need to do to for my ex husband to sign our jointly owned home over to me? Our son and I live in the house and make the payments. We live in Texas.

If both of your names are on the note, only the mortgage company can remove his name from the obligation.

He can sign a QUIT-CLAIM DEED but it's a very basic legal document. Many title companies hate them.

Can you refinance the house and get the note in your name only? That is the best solution, however, it might not be available to you.
