Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My name is Joshua. I currently live in Texas. My daughter is one year old. Her mother and I split up about 4 or 5 months ago. After the split she took off with my daughter to Alabama and she said if I tried to stop her that she would say a bunch of lies to my probation officer and lie and say that I hit her. Since the day my daughter has been gone, i have been trying to talk to her and the only way I'm able to talk to her is if i send money every week. I want to go and see her so badly because I know they are not taking care of her. Her mother has a bad prescription drug problem. My only problem with seeking custody is that I am on probation. Please help, this is extremely difficult for me. My daughter is my whole world. Thank you

Once Mom has lived in another state with the child, that state acquires jurisdiction (under the UCCJEA). FILE SOMETHING NOW in the Texas Courts.
This is going to be a custody fight, and you're going to need a lawyer (and lots of money).
