Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
A judge recently granted my divorce but I am not happy with the outcome. I haven't signed the final paper yet, do I have a right to change my mind now about child support?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Once the judge signs the final paperwork -- only the judge's signature really matters!
If you aren't happy, you need to be in an attorney's office in your county immediately to see if you have time to change things.
If you had an attorney, call your attorney immediately.
If you did not have an attorney, now you are learning why people should have an attorney representing them during a legal matter.
I can't answer your question based on the limited information you provided. No competent attorney can answer your question -- you need to take your paperwork to an attorney and sit down with a licensed attorney and see if you have time to try to change your mind.
