Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

What can be done when a judge tells you in the courtroom (after telling court reporter to stop recording) that if you ever come into the courtroom again, I will take custody of your child away from you because I wanted to contest his previous ruling?

Make a note of what he said --- his exact words - and file a sworn motion to add it to the record of the hearing.

Whether he allows it or not, you've filed the motion (with the District Clerk, not with the Judge), and it becomes a part of the record of that case. Forever.

And if you're ever before that Judge again, you can ask to have him recused, since he is obviously prejudiced.
