Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Kidnapping

My brother was kicked out of my mother's husband's property/ residence by her husband. He refuses to return to my mother or her husband's residence. My mother has guardianship custody of him through a divorce. He is 17 and has not graduated HS. If I take him in and out of TX what are legal issues I could face brought on by my mother and/or her husband?

Re: Kidnapping

You could be interfering with custody--a felony. However, if your brother does not want to go you could speak with an attorney regarding a custody change. I would try to work out something in writing. Where is your brother's father? E-mail me if you need more help.
