Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My three kids go over to their father's and girlfriends place for the typical visitation and endure nothing but emotional abuse - being made to sit in bedrooms - plugs pulled from tv's and computer, daughter (who is special needs) sits in her menstrual cycle because her father will not buy her pads. The girlfriend is a big instigater and is the catalyst for a lot of the "constant punishment" on their weekends. My oldest son who is 14 is very solom and withdrawn, my younger son has threatened serious actions before having to go over there. Their father has also put a sock in the youngest ones mouth to shut him up. Their father is not willing to give up these visits even though he does not enjoy his children because of his feeling of power and entitlement.
All this is considered to be "normal" and acceptable visits until they are 18? You are kidding me right? Obsurd...please give me direction in order to help my children.

1. Report him to the police as a child abuser (which he is). NOW. It's the law. If you don't, you can be arrested and charged with a crime. It has happened before.
2. File a motion for modification NOW, and ask for temporary orders. Attach an affidavit to your motion that spells out what you spelled out for me.
Plan on bringing at least $7,500.00 to your lawyer at the initial meeting.
