Try calling a lawyer referral service in your area or your local Bar association for an attorney that does reduced fee work. They may be able to give you information on legal service organizations that provide service to low income persons.

Go to the court and tell the judge you don't have an attorney. Meanwhile, if you're near Houston, call the Houston Lawyer Referral and ask for an attorney who does reduced fee work. The number is 713-237-9429.
