Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Ok I am not sure as to what I need to do. My kids live with there mother and have sence 2007 when our divorce was final, since then I have tried to get custody of my children or just to make her understand that she has to start taking better care of them. We have batteled cps for 5 yrs and nothing gets done, anywhere from them not being in carseats to not getting feed or bathed for weeks. I am not rich and can not afford the 10,000.00 dollar court cost that the attorneys want to help me in my case. Ok here we go besides the other things that my children have gone though now we have be battling head lice since sept. 2012 my wife and I will get them clean and send them back and then they have them again. It started with a school call from where they go to school at all three of them where the only kids in school who had the head lice so she said she was treating them and cleaning her house and then we picked them up and they still had it, we have two other child of our own and do not want them getting it so my wife had sprayed the house prior to the other childern coming over and then cleaned them and even cut the nits out of there hair to be safe like the school nurs had told us. Next week end we pick them up they are infested again I talked to her and she clams she is doing the same thing and treating them. Two weeks go by and we are still treating them and then the school calls there all three are getting sent home with lies and they are again the only ones. I have ofered to get somone to clean her ours and the kids things but she says she is and evey time they come back its the same thing all over again. This has been going on for 4 months and they came home this weekend with them even worse than befor what can I do to help my kids?

You need to file a motion for modification to change custody of the children. You will have to have a lawyer to help you with this, especially since the CPS will likely be involved. Dealing with them is like dealing with the Nazi party.
