Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

kids

My sister has two children..she was arrested yesterday for a weapon in the car and not sure what else ..irreguardless we felt that she was mentally unstable and want her to get some help .in the mean time we dont want her to have the kids ..my mother(kids grandmother) and i have had them for the last week..what do we need to do so that she cant take them from a secure place and is required to get help ? we are in oklahoma and she is in texas

Another option is to locate daddy immediately and get him involved.

One solution would be to report this to Child Protective Services, but you might never see the children again and they might not go to a better place. So, I suggest you talk to a lawyer about filing for custody. That is something that can be managed and reversed if she ever cleans up her act. Good Luck.
