Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Are there any laws in Texas to protect my pregnant sixteen year old daughter and myself from her nineteen year old boyfriend and his family? My daughter was NOT raped, she was a willing participant. I need to know what laws can protect us, in the event that this situation should "turn ugly".

Since she was under the age of 17, she cannot legally consent to sex. It is an affirmative defense that the boyfriend was within 3 years of her age. You state she was 16, and he was 19. Birthdays will matter. If he was 3 years and one day, then the case could be prosecuted.

I don't know what you mean by 'ugly', but in any event, she needs to seek court orders regarding support, possession, access and conservatorship.
