I filed for a divore in 8/06. I paid my lawyer in full for his service. I try to contact him and he does not retutrn my phone calls. I do not know what is going on with my case or if my wife has been issued the divorce papers. Is their a way i can report him to anyone or get my money back?

Re: Lawyer not coroparating

Yes, the rules of professional conduct

in virtually all U.S. jurisdictions which require attorneys to maintain

adequate contact and communication with their clients, undoubtedly are also applicable to your attorney as a member of the Texas State Bar.(The complaint form is probably available online at the bar's website.)

If your attorney has allegedly failed to live up to or abide by this standard of professional conduct, you may need to file a report regardng his alleged attorney nonfeasance with the Texas State Bar Association.
